Projects and ActivitiesOn the last 12 years of activity, the Technicians of Oral Engineering completed a lot of projects, for automotive and motorcycle fields. On following, the most important issues are listed below:
Main racing projects
- Design and development laboratory engines.
- Design of F1 v10 engine.
- Design and development of motorcycle engine for MotoGP.
- Design and development of bike chassis and aerodynamics’ for MotoGP.
- 6 cylinder engine development, overhaul and on race track service, for DTM Championship.
- 8 cylinder 850cc engine for motorbike.
- Development and race track service for a car matching the Turism Italian Championship.
- 3 litres V8 turbo engine development for FIA GT1 Championship.
- Design update and development of V12 engine for Off-Shore Championship.
- Set up and racing service of BMW 318is and Rover 200vi cars, for Italian Rally Championship.
- Design and development of a twin cylinder 1000cc for road bike application.
- Design and development of a four V4 engine for racing bike.
- Marine application set up for a 4000cc 4 cylinder engine.
- FGSPORT GROUP: compilation of Technical Regulations and on track service, as technical reference for the Organizer of the SUPERSTARS Italian Championship© (see also www.eurosuperstars.com)
Racing and production part supply
- Machining and manufacturing of cylinderheads, cylinderblocks, sumps and covers for F1 cars and racing motorcycle.
- Manufacturing of several parts (Ti, Al and Steel alloys) for F1 car chassis and suspension.
- Design and manufacturing of Titanium connecting rods for V8 4.4 litres engine, as per FORD ISO TS quality production standards.
- Machining of carbonfiber brake discs, for F1 and FIA GT cars.
- Set up of chassis and of Mitsubishi cars for Italian Rally Championship.
- Machining and supply of engine parts for motorcycle production and racing.
- Design and supply of parts under MIL specification.
Other activities in Oral Engineering
- Preparation and set up of two cars BMW 318is, A Group, for the Italian Rally Championship, by own internal racing team
- Design and development of a city car, powered by fuel cells and electrical engines
- Design, development, production and spare part retailing for go-kart 4 stroke 250cc engine.
